WELLINGTON: Saudi Health Minister Fahad Abdulrahman AlJalajel recently met New Zealand鈥檚 Minister for Mental Health Matt Doocey, who is the first minister appointed to the role in his country.
AlJalajel highlighted the Kingdom鈥檚 experience in developing digital mental health programs that have contributed to serving millions of beneficiaries, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
The Saudi minister and his delegation also met a variety of officials and leaders of the health sector and the two parties discussed bilateral cooperation in the field of healthcare.
AlJalajel鈥檚 official visit to New Zealand, which concluded on Saturday, formed part of the Kingdom鈥檚 efforts to expand the scope of its international partnerships in the health sector.
